Our Activities

Since our establishment, we believe in working with the involvement of community and various stakeholders like students, institutions, government organization, resident welfare association, etc. We are been conducting awareness programs in various mode to reach the possible individual to enlighten them plastic presence in garbage, its affect and how one can contribute to save our environment.

Few of such programs are detailed below.

1. Conference/exhibitions:

We have participated in various national and international level conferences with presentations, technical talks and Independent stall displaying our products, technology and sharing our experiences with the participants.

Technical talk by Mrs. Sapna N., Business Development Consultant, KKPWM in a Workshop organized by CanaraPlast 2013 on 'Solid Waste Management and Plastic Recycling' on 23 December, 2013 at Mangalore.

2.Educational Institutions:

We encourage and organize regular talk on solid waste management and plastic waste recycling as part of environment studies in schools and college including exposure visits. We encouraged the students and started home to school plastic/dry waste campaign in Claret School, Hebbala and Delhi Public School, East Bangalore. An overwhelming response by the students has encouraged us to extend the same to other schools too.

3. Sanitary workers of Bangalore City Corporation:

Sanitary workers play a key role in waste management system. Hence it is very essential to train the workers on personnel hygiene, revenue from waste, segregation of waste, health and safety etc. We have conducted enormous numbers of training and workshop for the sanitary workers since our inception.

Trained 150 workers at Dry Waste Collection Centers established by BBMP in ward no. 175, 188 and 189 on 5th March 2014

Hands on training on plastic waste separation from garbage was given to the workers of secondary transportation vehicles of BBMP on 5th march 2014.

Lunch for 200 workers were organized for the workers.

A five days training program was organized by us in association with BBMP for 900 workforce of waste management system of Bommanahalli Zone, BBMP. for more details, view the report.

4. Community/residents:

We have conducted exclusive IEC campaigns covering residential layouts, apartments, welfare associations etc. to promote waste segregation and recycling.

Door to door awareness program conducted in association with BBMP at Duo height Layout, Begur promoting segregation of waste in three streams.
